Built in 1911 in Art Nouveau style, the hotel awaits its guests in one of the most renowned historic buildings of Kaposvár.
After total renovation and restoration the hotel is offering 31 rooms (standard and superior), all of 4* standard comfort and services. The building also includes an events centre with different halls and many functions, which offers its infrastructure and services to external guests too; just as the Lobby bar and the Beauty saloon on the ground floor.

Rooms
The smart and modern rooms (standard and superior) are located on the first and third floor of the Dorottya house. The building is air-conditioned and open all year. The standard rooms placed in the attic are all unique in their design and form. A special and exciting layout makes them really attractive. Some more spacious and more exquisite superior rooms are located on the first floor of the house. Each room has an LCD television, a minibar and in-room safe. Internet access is available throughout the house (WIFI and LAN). Due to the design and the furnishing, the rooms offer comfortable accommodation for holidays to couples and families, but also a good basis for travelling businessmen or conference guests, combining conditions for work and relaxation.

Events Centre
The fully renovated Hotel Dorottya is also a modern events centre. The unique atmosphere and style of the house is inspiring and cosy at the same time. Having the town centre and the major traffic lines nearby makes our house perfectly suitable for any kind of events – private or corporate.
Beside the Dorottya Ballroom the house offers two other function rooms – Csokonai Room and Rippl-Rónai Room. These offer an ideal location for smaller events, conferences or business meetings. The hotel’s Lobby bar is neighbour to the function rooms, offering an ideal and stylish spot for coffee breaks or other catering, or even some private discussions during conferences and meetings.
The rooms bear complex technical background and internet access. You can find a well-sized stage in the ballroom, which is perfect for performances and concerts. Our event centre is a perfect choice for each kind of function. Conferences, business meeting, receptions, family gatherings or a fairy-tale wedding – our hall and rooms can offer the solution.
